Owner & General Manager
Linda has been the owner and manager of Mt. Tabor Boarding and Grooming for over ten years. She has always had a love of animals and has 12 years of previous experience as a Veterinary Technician and Veterinary Office Manager. Her husband, Dr. George Hofmann, is a veterinarian at Winston Veterinary Hospital.
Linda’s previous work experience as a Veterinary Technician includes:
- Winston Veterinary Hospital in Winston-Salem, NC
- University of Georgia – College of Veterinary Medicine in Athens, GA
- Boulevard Animal Hospital in Raleigh, NC
Linda received an Associate in Science/Veterinary Medical Technology from Central Carolina Community College and a Bachelor of Arts from Salem College in Interior Design followed by a career as a certified Kitchen and Bath Designer.
Linda has rescued and fostered many pets in her lifetime of caring for animals. She currently owns 3 dogs, Julie, Maggie and Tazzi, and 3 cats, Lexi, Onyx and Tango. She was also a Girl Scout leader for 12 years. You can always find Girl Scout Cookies at Mt. Tabor Boarding & Grooming in March.
Her mission, which has also become the mission of Mt. Tabor Boarding & Grooming, is to provide a safe, fun and caring environment for “your pet’s second home”. She states, “I want to provide the attention to details and the care that other larger facilities do not.”
